WATER PROTECTION — Classic: 10-year wet warranty and 24-hour clean-up condition. Impressive, Impressive Ultra, Majestic, Perspective Nature and Impressive Design: 15 years and 72 hours. Wipe up standing water promptly; flood/deluge and appliance failure are excluded under the 03/2026 Australian manufacturer warranty.

WEAR PERFORMANCE — Impressive Ultra is rated AC5/Class 33; other five series AC4/Class 32. The 33-year residential wear warranty relates to qualifying surface wear-through, not all scratching or mechanical damage.

PETS — The five non-Classic series carry a limited 15-year All Pet Warranty for qualifying damage. Accidents must be cleaned promptly and prolonged contact is excluded; the pet warranty covers replacement boards, not labour.

ACOUSTICS — Performance depends on the underlay and the whole installed flooring system. We do not infer noise reduction from thickness alone.

ROOM SUITABILITY — Kitchens may be suitable under correct installation. Manufacturer FAQ advises against persistently damp laundries, while general installation guides provide specific sealing measures for some bathrooms/laundries. We assess each wet-area project for moisture, drainage, sealing and applicable Australian regulations; never treat the surface as a substitute for compliant waterproofing. Saunas, pool areas and rooms with built-in drains are not appropriate.

MAINTENANCE — Vacuum or dry mop; use a lightly damp microfibre mop with approved cleaner and remove standing water promptly.

Site assessment is part of our supply-and-install advice. Check subfloor flatness, moisture and structural soundness; use suitable underlay and moisture protection, expansion joints, transitions and proper perimeter detailing. Quick-Step laminate must be installed floating, with suitable underfloor heating up to a 27°C floor-contact temperature. For Impressive Design Herringbone, the January 2026 installation guide recommends 48 hours acclimatisation and requires concrete below 80% RH, with rectification of unevenness greater than 4mm over 2m or 1mm over 20cm. Wet-room installation suitability cannot be decided from waterproof surface claims alone; manufacturer installation guidance, room conditions and local building regulations take precedence. Provide suitable floor assembly / underlay information before making acoustic claims.
