Quick-Step Ciro Herringbone Hybrid Flooring 6mm PRODUCT RANGE COMPARISON
01 / THE RESEARCH

What makes these ranges different?

Quick-Step's two hybrid ranges in our catalogue share a 6mm nominal thickness including a 1mm attached underlay, Class 33 usage classification and click-floating installation. Ciro uses small herringbone planks and Quick-Step's Unizip system; Bloom has longer, wider straight planks with Uniclic. Choosing between these two is more about pattern, room aesthetics and fitting needs than an extra filtering menu.

03 / OUR RESEARCH CONCLUSION

What we recommend comparing.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

Choose Ciro when the priority is a herringbone design with a click system designed for that pattern. Choose Bloom when you want a conventional, wider and longer timber-look plank. Both have the same 6mm nominal thickness and manufacturer 33-year residential wear terms; installation requirements and suitability still depend on subfloor, floor temperature and wet-area sealing.

BEST FOR

Ciro — geometric herringbone interiors and more decorative room layouts. Bloom — open living areas, conventional plank styling and longer board presentation.

05 / SUITABILITY & INSTALLATION

The details that matter.

Warranty, moisture and everyday use

Ciro: 630 × 126mm, 10 planks / 0.794m² per pack, Unizip herringbone. Bloom: 1494 × 209mm, 6 planks / 1.873m² per pack, Uniclic. Both are 5mm product plus 1mm integrated underlay, not standalone 6mm core. Australian manufacturer Vinyl/Hybrid Warranty 05/2025 provides limited 33-year residential wear and rental wear warranty for both, plus 33-year click-system warranty for hybrid ranges. Water damage from flood/deluge, appliance failure, installation or maintenance faults is excluded. Acoustic performance depends on the entire assembly, not a blanket claim that 1mm attached underlay solves noise issues.

Before installation

Both are floating click floors. Inspect subfloor flatness, moisture, suitable transitions, perimeter expansion requirements, temperature/sun exposure, underlay compatibility and approved wet-area installation details. Do not glue, nail or pin floating Hybrid to the subfloor. Confirm exact supplier instructions and the homeowner's setting before quoting.
