Premium Floors Titan Hybrid Flooring 6mm PRODUCT RANGE COMPARISON
01 / THE RESEARCH

What makes these ranges different?

Premium Floors has three Titan hybrid ranges in our current catalogue. Titan Home is 5mm with 1220 × 180mm planks; Titan Hybrid is 6mm at 1500 × 180mm; Titan XXL is 6mm at 1800 × 225mm. Their formats and warranty terms are not identical: Australian Titan Vinyl & Hybrid terms give 15-year residential wear for Titan Hybrid Home and 20 years for Titan Hybrid XXL; Premium Floors' 2024 Titan brochure also confirms a 20-year residential wear warranty for its 1500 × 180mm Titan Hybrid range.

03 / OUR RESEARCH CONCLUSION

What we recommend comparing.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

For a compact plank and slimmer 5mm construction, review Titan Home. For a mid-length 1500 × 180mm plank, Titan Hybrid offers a middle format. For the long, wide 1800 × 225mm look, choose Titan XXL. Compare the actual warranty PDF and installation guide for the purchased variant; a larger board is not necessarily the better choice for a small room or uneven slab.

BEST FOR

Titan Home: 1220 × 180mm and 5mm. Titan Hybrid: 1500 × 180mm and 6mm. Titan XXL: extra-long 1800 × 225mm and 6mm.

The details that matter.

Warranty, moisture and everyday use

Premium Floors' warranty PDF distinguishes Titan Hybrid Home (15-year wear) from Titan Hybrid XXL (20-year wear). The supplier's 2024 Titan brochure explicitly lists a 20-year residential wear warranty for the 1500 × 180mm Titan Hybrid range, while the June 2022 warranty's wording groups standard Titan with XXL as 'Titan Hybrid (XXL)'. If the date/edition applicable to a contract matters, confirm the current warranty version with the distributor. Integrated underlay does not replace appropriate subfloor and wet-area preparation. Supplier uses Class 33 for the Titan 6mm range; do not present the AC5 field as the same as laminate AC5 without matching test basis.

Before installation

Follow Titan's approved floating click installation rules for subfloor moisture, flatness, expansion gaps and slab moisture control. Large planks require a suitably flat, sound subfloor. Do not advertise generic acoustics without a named test assembly. Refer wet-area installation decisions to supplier requirements and applicable waterproofing standards.
